Vegan Dubai chocolate bar with pistachio and kataifi
The viral Dubai chocolate bar, redone with Coracao's clean-label playbook. Roasted pistachios, crispy kataifi pastry, and our fair-trade cacao with coconut sugar instead of refined sugar. No dairy, no gluten, no soy, no peanuts. The crunch, the pistachio cream, the nostalgic Middle Eastern dessert flavor, none of the food sensitivities.
Why a vegan Dubai chocolate bar is hard to find anywhere else
The original Fix Dessert Chocolatier bar that started the trend contains milk chocolate and ghee. Every viral copycat since has followed the same dairy-forward formula because pistachio cream traditionally uses cream or condensed milk. We rebuilt the recipe around cacao butter and coconut milk powder so the bar still has the silky filling, the kataifi crunch, and the deep pistachio flavor, without any of the dairy. If you have been watching the Dubai chocolate trend from the sidelines because of a dairy allergy or a vegan diet, this is the bar.

Dubai chocolate FAQ
What is Dubai chocolate?
Dubai chocolate is a chocolate bar filled with a mixture of pistachio cream and toasted kataifi (shredded phyllo) pastry. It was popularized by Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai and went viral on TikTok in 2024. The format is now made by dozens of chocolate makers worldwide. Coracao's version is the vegan, dairy-free interpretation.
What is in Dubai chocolate?
The original is milk chocolate, pistachio cream, kataifi pastry, and tahini. Coracao's vegan version uses fair-trade cacao with cacao butter, organic pistachios, kataifi, coconut sugar instead of refined sugar, and no dairy. Full ingredient list is on the bar and in the section above.
What is Dubai chocolate made of, in the Coracao version?
Cacao, cacao butter, coconut sugar, organic pistachios, kataifi pastry (whole wheat flour and water), pistachio butter, vanilla, and crisped quinoa for added texture. No dairy, no gluten ingredient outside the kataifi flour, no soy, no peanuts, no refined sugar.
Why is Dubai chocolate so expensive elsewhere?
Quality pistachio butter and hand-prepared kataifi are labor-intensive ingredients. Most Dubai-chocolate-style bars sell for $15 to $30 because of the pistachio cost. The Coracao bar is $6.99 for a single bar and $75.49 for a case of 12, which puts us competitive on price while keeping the ingredient bill organic and fair-trade.
Where can I buy vegan Dubai chocolate?
This page. Coracao Confections is one of the few makers selling a fully vegan, dairy-free Dubai chocolate bar in the US. We ship nationwide from our Richmond, California facility.
Does Coracao Dubai chocolate contain dairy or gluten?
No dairy, no soy, no peanuts. The kataifi pastry contains whole-wheat flour so the bar is not gluten-free. If you need a gluten-free chocolate bar, our pistachio-free dark chocolate line is fully gluten-free.
